RENWEX 2021. Renewable Energy & Electric Vehicles and the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds in 2021
EXPOCENTRE will play host to the RENWEX 2021 Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles Exhibition and the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development on 22–24 June 2021 to present new products in the field of renewable energy.
The aim of the event is to create conditions for the development of fundamental instruments for cooperation and effective work within the industry. That is why the motto of the exhibition is Creating the Future of Renewable Energy Together.
Hydrogen power, geothermal and hydroelectric power, microgeneration, biofuels, solar and wind power plants, and electric transport are among the industry’s most relevant issues. The key drivers of the growing attention to the topic of renewable energy are the global updating of the climate agenda and the need to reduce the cost of production and introduction of renewable power sources.
The forum and the exhibition will promote innovative Russian and foreign technologies in the field of renewable energy and environmental engineering. There also will be discussions of a wider range of issues related to development of the Russian regional retail energy market.
RENWEX is a unique combination of networking and business elements, which jointly create a comfortable environment for consumers and manufacturers of renewable energy. The event helps to develop both the new businesses and already established participants of the renewable energy market.
The previous edition of the exhibition demonstrated impressive results as an effective business networking platform. It had success as a link between RES professionals and those interested in this new energy sector.
RENWEX is attended by the main actors of the industry: representatives of the business community, specialised government and research organisations. Last year the exhibition was truly international. It welcomed 63 companies from 9 countries: Austria, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey. In turn, the visitors represented 42 countries. The event programme included 13 events, in which more than 120 speakers and 2,000 delegates took part.
The agenda of the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development includes the following issues: development of the retail market of RES and the necessary technical solutions, regulations of RES, use of RES in the energy supply of remote and isolated areas, use of biofuels and waste management, international experience in the development of renewable energy, digitalization of modern energy, development of electric transport and related infrastructure, and development of energy storage systems for industrial consumers and households. A separate day is devoted to discussions about microgeneration.
Special attention will be paid to the popular topic of electric transport development. The presence of companies, that have recently attracted interest within the industry, will allow visitors to get acquainted with and get more understanding of the electric vehicles market. Prospects and challenges of the introduction of hydrogen fuel cars, problems of hydrogen transportation and storage, as well as high hydrogen production costs in comparison with other energy sources and other features of hydrogen energy market will be also discussed in detail.
The exhibition and forum will be attended by representatives of government, business community, expert and public organisations, consulting companies and financial institutions, as well as leading media outlets.
